That’s what I meant by shit test. Women respond to guys they can’t control in any way. For example, you want him to come with you somewhere and you hint that there’ll be sex after (or he thinks that for some reason). If he gives in to your wishes too much, all the sudden you can control him (whether intentional or not). This takes from the “bad boy” persona a bit cause all the sudden he’s not as untameable and it implies that your his only option.. BUT if he doesn’t give in, all the sudden you’re wondering if he’s fucking someone else tonight, and all the sudden it’s a game to get that to be you.

But yeah, older guys have more experience. Of course too old and you might throw their hip out, but you get the idea. Good luck!

Lol!! Cougar!! It’s interesting you bring that up because, though I don’t go after them, most of the men that show interest are either younger or older. The ones around my age go after younger or older females!

And no, I didn’t have a “shit test,” but I do think women do test our men in some way to see how far we can go with certain things. But that doesn’t mean beat the hell out of a women either. I went through a lot with my ex and now I can laugh at that crap. It took me years to be able to speak about it without even crying.

On the topic of finding another man, I’d remind you that most middle aged alpha men have other options available and aren’t looking to settle down. Maybe go for older men? I feel like younger guys would either not be interested or be intimidated by a cougar lol.

Thanks for responding to my query. To give some insights as to my personality, I am a very dominant female in the work area. I have my Master’s degree and very computer/tech savvy. I also run my own marketing business. With that said, I like dominant men because of those factors. I want to come home and pamper my man and be taken control of. I often joke about “not wanting to think when I come home,” lol.

At the time of my abusive relationship, I was 23-24 (I’m latter 30’sum lol) and had a very Brooklyn girl attitude – just attitude for no reason. That changed when I got with my BF. I remember the first time I got hit. I was on the phone with my BF while we were driving 2 separate cars and we got into an exchange of words. I got snappy (disrespectful if you want, but he did too) and when he caught up with me, I got yanked out of my car, he opened the side door to his Hummer, threw me in and punched me so hard in the face, I bounced off of the seat. The last incident, I was sent home on the train with stab marks in my coat, 2 black eyes, and an open stab wound on the top of my head. So yes, it was some Lifetime Movie Channel, extreme violence. I can’t make this stuff up!

Anyhoo, I think my attraction to dominant men stems from my interactions with my father, and I’ve always been “searching” for that figure in my life for a mate. Sadly, they come with issues – abusive, different girlfriends, or they play Alpha when in the mood. Blah… But I’m sure I’ll meet someone who meets my criteria and I meet his. If not, I’ll get a young thang 😉
