The dynamics don't really shift then, you just have to persist and stay on target.

I enjoyed your brief story about the "guy in a band," I see guys like this all the time, I have a friend that constantly talks about how many women he has slept with, throwing out numbers like it proves his manliness. When he is around women he talks up anything and everything to make the woman find him more attractive, I've always taken this to be a sign of weakness and it seems to stem from chronic low self esteem. Maybe I'm wrong but it doesn't seem necessary to constantly try to sell people because of your accomplishments, I see how it could benefit in certain situations but for the most part it just makes you look like a asshat.

Brad and Angelina is a very great example of two alphas orbiting each other on a daily basis, but I'm sure the view from their castle in the sky helps with this problem for them. For some reason though - I don't know why - I can sort of see Angelina taking a power position as well. If we're only talking about gaming then this seems like less of a problem - having two alphas come together I mean - if it were long term it would probably get worse with time, who knows.

But it's still an interesting dynamic existing in the world of human interactions. Thanks again for the response. I'm am currently trying to barrel through the NLP stuff right now. Keep writing.
